On March 8, 2023, in Islamabad, Pakistan, a gathering was held in honor of International Women’s Day, organized by a coalition of Afghan women’s protest movements. The celebration featured poetry recitations, songs, and speeches that honored the value and achievements of women.

All speakers and participants emphasized the critical challenges facing Afghan women and their deprivation from basic rights, urging the global community and human rights organizations to take action to secure women's rights worldwide, especially in Afghanistan. Finally, the coalition of Afghan women’s protest movements in Islamabad extended gratitude and recognition to the brave women activists of Afghanistan, concluding the event with a resolution reading.
